Here is some actual NEWS :  My song “WHEN MY LOVE FOR YOU IS JUST A MEMORY” won the August 2025 Bluebird Golden Pick! That honor comes with some free stuff, but the most valuable prize is a spot in a Bluebird show, so I am heading to Nashville for the Open Mic on August 18.  An Instagram video is the format for Golden Pick song submission, so you can find that on @genezierlersongs and @bluebirdcafetn.  I'll put a more polished version of the song up on this website soon.

I recently had a chance to create a cover version of my song “WHEN MY LOVE FOR YOU IS JUST A MEMORY” (the one that won the August 2025 Bluebird Café Golden Pick) using SUNO which is generative AI music platform.  I just uploaded my own solo acoustic version and a lyric sheet, gave it some general parameters, and a few seconds later I had a new cover of my song.  The SUNO version is not perfect, but it has a lot of good stuff in it.  If you have time and are interested, let me know what you think, and thanks for listening.
